SYNOPSIS:Maya and her longtime boyfriend, Ryan, embark on a cross-country journey to start a new life together in the Pacific Northwest. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when their car breaks down in Venus, Oregon, leaving them stranded for the night in a remote Airbnb home. As darkness falls, they find themselves facing a harrowing ordeal as they are relentlessly pursued by three masked strangers bent on violence and terror.
“The Strangers: Chapter 1” is an upcoming American slasher film helmed by director Renny Harlin, with a screenplay penned by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freeland, based on a story by Bryan Bertino. Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez take the lead roles as a couple who cross paths with the trio of psychopathic masked assailants during their road trip. This movie marks the third installment in The Strangers film series originated by Bertino. It sets the stage for a new trilogy of standalone sequel films, maintaining the essence of the original while unfolding a fresh narrative. Chapter 1 follows a similar premise to the inaugural film and remains consistent with the continuity established by its predecessors.
