Alien: Romulus, the highly anticipated return to the terrifying Alien franchise, blasts off with this pulse-pounding teaser trailer. Directed by Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe) and written by Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues, Alien: Romulus takes viewers on a claustrophobic and suspenseful journey into the unknown.
The teaser offers a glimpse of a ragtag crew of young space scavengers who stumble upon a derelict space station, the Romulus. Lured by the promise of forgotten riches, they soon discover a horrifying secret: the station is infested with Xenomorphs, the nightmarish bioweapons that have haunted humanity for generations.
As the crew desperately fights for survival, the trailer showcases the film’s return to the franchise’s roots. Claustrophobic corridors, flickering emergency lights, and the constant threat of the unseen Xenomorph all build a terrifying atmosphere. The brief glimpses of the Xenomorph itself hint at a new and terrifying iteration of the classic creature.
Starring Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale), Isabela Merced (Dora and the Lost City of Gold), Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone), and David Jonsson (Agatha Christie’s Murder is Easy), Alien: Romulus promises to bring a fresh perspective to the Alien universe while honoring the chilling legacy of the original films.
